"AHON FILIPINO" 48"X60" inches Acrilic on canvas, Conneth Amido
“AHON FILIPINO” - The painting is a depiction of how the Filipino’s hold on to Pananampalataya. Over and over again despite natural calamities like Ondoy and poverty due to poor governance. This humbling experiences made us clean, not just our homes but our souls too.
We won't give in at Alam kong aahon tayo.

"Magsasari-Piso" Acrylic on canvas 48"x24" - Conneth Amido

In The Arms Of A Mother,amido 09
She does everything for us, our Nanay. Difficult it may seem to do alot at home and work at the same time. Hardly ever a time that she says, later my son I’m tired.
I’m experiencing this now with three kids of my own… to stay at home with them while their Nanay is away for a regular income. I’m not ashamed but glad to have felt what it’s like to grasp your child in your arms as I continue to fight for my dreams and make them comfortable. Sleep well my kids, everything will be just fine.

"From Heaven Into Your Crib" acrylic on canvas 3'x3'ft., Conneth amido
The anticipation builds up as we wait for the day when it’s time to lay our borrowed reward into our crib. This painting is to celebrate the unexplainable magic of life, for this grace of God is given to most but not to everyone. Our existence goes on and on and on… ang tinde, angas at kay astig magkaroon ng anak! He he he!
